Dr. Thakur has previously worked as Research Associate at the Madras School of Economics, Chennai, India where he worked on a project on “Trade and Environment” funded by MoEF&CC under Professor U. Sankar. The role involve were to prepare Trade and Environmental related Indian disputes in WTO; RTA and India; and Prepare data on Environmental friendly goods on 6 digit HS Code.
He also worked as Academic Associate, Vamnicom, Pune, India. Initially, mainly assisted the faculty who were teaching the courses on Managerial Economics and Microeconomics. Later, taught a course on Managerial economics.
Dr. Thakur holds a BA in Economics from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, a B.Sc. in IT from Sikkim Manipal University India, M.A. in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, and a PhD in Environmental Economics from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, India. He’s currently a member of the International Board of Standards of the ICCE.
