The Institute of Certified Chartered Economists (ICCE) has announced the appointment of Dr. Pankaj K. Agarwal, an Associate Professor of Finance & Accounting at the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Jammu as a member of its International Board of Standards.
The ICCE is a professional body for economists committed to raising economics professionals with the highest ethical standards through quality education and collaborative learning.
The Institute offers the Chartered Economist designation which is open to and accessible to all learners globally. Members who join the Institute are required to complete the ICCE curriculum through a series of examinations before being awarded the respected Chartered Economist designation.
Pankaj has about 23 years of professional experience including a six-year stint with the banking and financial service industry at fortune 500 banks like SBI.
He’s currently an Associate Professor of Finance & Accounting at the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Jammu. IIM is one of India’s leading highest institutions of learning.
He is a double doctorate in finance and management- a fellow of XLRI Jamshedpur and a Ph. D in (Business Management) – MBA (FMSU), CFA (ICFAI), and CAIIB (Gold Medalist).
He has conducted a number of MDPs for clients like Energy Efficiency Services Limited, Coca Cola, CII, ASSOCHAM, PNB, NTPC, and U P Government. Also, he has successfully convened several international and national conferences.

His academic and research interests include Asset Pricing, Derivatives & Risk Management, Financial Econometrics, Financial Modeling with Excel, Corporate Finance, Microfinance, Banking, and Capital Markets.
He is a Life Member of The Indian Econometrics Society (TIES), the Indian Commerce Association, and the Indian Economic Association.
